Week 3 of the PAC-10 season brought us plenty of heavyweight matchups, lots of trash talk, and some god-awful trades. Silence of the Lambs, formerly known as Dak’s Ballsack, got some picks back from Bijan Ball’s, Dak’s Sack in return for future benchwarmer Justin Fields. Y’all are really obsessed with testicles it’s pretty gay. Ian, aka the Hall of Lame, became the most fraudulent team in league history with a 3-0 start while having the 6th most points for. I feel like this happens every year with Ian’s team before he gets exposed in the playoffs. Pete continued his meteoric run and kept his perfect season alive with another huge win over Kiran. Can Kiran’s Tuffington U. Rizzlers avoid the sacko with a slumping Joey B and injured Nick Chubb? Can anyone #beatPete? Can Vamsi score more than 110 points? Should Saagar sell the team and retire from fantasy forever? Will AJ keep Tutu Atwell or Kareem Hunt? Find out next week on Chard Fantasy.
In the highest scoring matchup of the season, as Saagar and Aidan sat in the cold Jersey rain watching Zach Wilson and Mac Jones attempt to set the record for the most boring game in NFL history, their fantasy teams absolutely exploded. Saagar couldn’t believe his eyes as Raheem Mostert put up an incredible 45 points. Meanwhile, Zach Wilson couldn’t complete a pass. While his team played very well across the board, Saagar’s true Achilles heel was not the MetLife Stadium turf, but the Dallas offense. While Dak and Pollard played ok, CeeDee Lamb was silenced as Kenneth Walker went for 30 in the second window. Saagar will look to bounce back and pick up a win with his new-look team, while Aidan will look to beat the projections and haters once again after picking up his first win.
This game was pretty boring in all honesty. Vamsi is looking like an absolute bye week this year, and he didn’t even fuck up and auto draft in the first round this time. Dean finally got some production out of Jamarr Chase, and hopefully will fill his hole at RB with Travis Etienne. Somehow, Dean goes to 2-1 and it’s hard to tell if he’s tanking this year or making a push for the playoffs. Vamsi had horrific underperformances all across the board, most notably from Derrick Henry and Sam Howell. No amount of bench-pressing can save Vamsi’s team from fantasy purgatory.
In a game that looked like it was determined after the second window, Ian came from behind for another unexpected win. As Cotton McKnight once said, “Ladies and gentlemen, I have been to the Great Wall of China, I have seen the Pyramids of Egypt, I've even witnessed a grown man satisfy a camel. But never in all my years as a sportscaster have I witnessed something as improbable, as impossible, as what we've witnessed here today!” Davante Adams bailed Ian’s ass out during SNF with 42 points, and Puka’s magical run finally ran out on MNF for Nikith, who received his first loss of the season. Nikith still looks like a really good team with a lot of depth if Mixon and Higgins can start playing at a high level, and Ian can prove he is more than the Sam LaPorta show if Saquon and Kamara come back strong.
Another extremely high-scoring matchup saw Kiran take the L even after starting out really strong with Deebo and Kittle on TNF. While a disappointing start for the former champ and for Joe Burrow, Kiran should take this momentum into next week. He has two solid QB’s in Cousins and Love and playmakers across the board, and I just can’t see him going winless this season. Pete, on the other hand, is just a different animal and the WR combo of Keenan Allen and Tyreek Hill, who combined for 75 points this week, might just prove unbeatable. Allen will likely get even more targets with Mike Williams out for the season. If the Cowboys defense gets back to its dominant start, we may be looking at a team that can score 190 on a weekly basis and run the table. Scary.
In addition to picking up his second dub of the season, AJ continues his streak of choosing cringey fantasy names blatantly stolen off the internet. Nevermind the copyright issues, AJ did enough to beat Lorcan even with some injuries to Waddle, Richardson, and Aiyuk. Questionable decision for sure to start Desmond Ridder, but the QB market is slim. Besides Herbert with 29 and Diggs with 19, Trader Lorcan kinda shit the bed and now finds himself 1-2.
Tuffington Performance - Derrick Henry (2 pts)
